This year Quaker Bridge will be closed to traffic for construction on race day, so we have made some modifications to the course.The race will once again be starting and finishing at Croton Harmon High School and following most of its traditional route over the Croton Dam.
Turn-by-Turn Overview of the Course:

The Race starts (S) On Old Post Road South, but further up the hill from last year’s starting line towards Veteran’s Corners. At Veteran’s Corners: right on Cleveland Drive – Left turn on Park Avenue, which merges with Lexington Drive; continue straight on Lexington Drive across Sunset Drive to end. Right turn on Sunset – Left turn on Old Post Road South – returns to Veteran’s Corners (MILE 1) Right turn on Cleveland Drive – Left turn on Gerstein Street and Right turn on Wood Road. Bear right onto Route 129; cross over to the left side of Route 129. Left on Batten Road.
(Mile 2: At bend just after starting up Batten Road hill) Near top of Batten Road hill bear right at intersection with Bramble Bush Road. Follow Batten Road to end and cross Route 129 to Croton Dam Road (Mile 3). Cross over Croton Dam and take immediate right onto the Aqueduct Trail (gravel road). After a short distance bear right where the trail splits and follow switchback trail down into Croton Gorge Park. Follow road along parking area (Mile 4) crossing bridge immediately below Croton Dam. Exit park road – bearing left onto Route 129 towards Croton (Mile 5 on Route 129 hill beyond intersection with Niles)
Follow Route 129 to left on Jacoby street Right on Cleveland Drive to veteran’s corners (Mile 6) Right on Old Post Road South. FINISH LINE – directly in front of Croton Harmon High School.
