Directions

Run registration (on Race Day) and finish line are at Croton-Harmon High School, 36 Old Post Road South, Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520 — a short 30 mile ride North from New York City and easily accessible by train!

From New York City by Train:
From Grand Central Terminal, take Metro North Railroad (Hudson Line) to Croton Harmon station. Good news: All Sunday fares are “off-peak”. Purchase tickets at station ticket windows or machines to avoid on-board surcharge. See Metro-North schedules and check for Sunday schedule.  From the Croton Harmon station, it’s a 1.5 mile walk on sidewalks following Croton Point Avenue to Riverside Avenue, then left on Maple Street (Rt. 129) and walk to Old Post Road. Right at Old Post Road to High School.
Or take a taxi — they’re available at the Croton Harmon station) to Croton Harmon High School (fare is about $6 not including tip).


From New York City By Car:
– Bronx River Pkwy to Sprain Brook Pkwy North to merge with Taconic.
– Take 9A/100 exit. 9A North to merge with 9 North. Over causeway  into Croton.
– Take 2nd Croton exit (9A/129).
– Right off 9A/129 exit, right at foot of the ramp, straight through first light. At
next traffic light turn left onto Route 129.
– Straight until next light; you will be in center of town (about 100 yards from start line).
– High school on right; follow signs and find parking.

From North of Croton:
– Taconic Pkwy South to Underhill Ave.
– Right on Underhill to end at Rt.129
– Right on 129 into Croton (veer left at fork in town) and left at first light onto Old Post Rd.
– High School on right; follow signs and find parking.

From New Jersey:
-Palisades  North to 87 East
– 87 East to Tappan Zee East into Westchester.
– North on 9 about 8-10 miles into Croton to second exit. (9A/129 exit)
– Take 2nd Croton exit (9A/129).
– Right off 9A/129 exit, right at foot of the ramp, straight through first light. At
next traffic light turn left onto Route 129.
– Straight until next light; you will be in center of town (about 100 yards from start line).
– High school on right; follow signs and find parking.

From Rockland County:
– 87 East to Tappan Zee East into Westchester.
– North on 9 about 8-10 miles into Croton to second exit. (9A/129 exit)
– Take 2nd Croton exit (9A/129).
– Right off 9A/129 exit, right at foot of the ramp, straight through first light. At
next traffic light turn left onto Route 129.

From Greenwich, Connecticut:
– Merrit Parkway or Interstate 95 South to Route 287 West in New York State
– Exit 3N “Sprain Brook Parkway” North
– Merge with Taconic Parkway
– Take 9A/100 exit. 9A North to merge with 9 North. Over causeway into Croton.
– Take 2nd Croton exit (9A/129)
– Take 2nd Croton exit (9A/129).
– Right off 9A/129 exit, right at foot of the ramp, straight through first light. At
next traffic light turn left onto Route 129.
– Straight until next light; you will be in center of town (about 100 yards from start line).
– High school parking lot on right; follow signs and find parking.

From Danbury, Connecticut:
– 84 West to Exit 20/Interstate 684
– Exit 6 For Rt. 35 Cross River/Katonah
– Turn right on Rt. 35. Cross River Road
– Turn left on Rt. 100/S. Somerstown Turnpike
– Turn right onto Rt. 118. Saw Mill River Road
– Follow Rt. 118 — continue straight through blinking light as road becomes Rt. 129.
– Follow Rt 129 over Croton Reservoir Bridge and into the Croton village area, bearing left at fork and following 129 to first traffic light
– Continue onto Rt. 129. Croton Lake Road/Hunterville Dam Road
– Slight Left onto Maple Street
– Left at light onto Old Post Road South
– High school parking lot on right; follow signs and find parking.
